The two most popular styles are “river” or “lightning” tables. 

River creations involve bonding two or more pieces of wood together with a “river” of epoxy resin. This technique can be modified to create round-topped tables also. Click here for examples of river creations.

Lightning creations involve using electricity to burn a fractal pattern into the wood. The burn patterns can then be filled with resin to give a striking and unique effect. Click here for examples of lightning creations.
